I have been enamored with the art of photography since an early age, about as far back as I can recall. Some of my earliest happy memories are of perusing stacks of National Geographic magazines and soaking up the images and all that was presented on those pages. Before I could read, I learned about life and our relationship to the world through the work of the many talented photographers whose work graced those pages.

I find that I am continually drawn to images that depict the inherent beauty in all things. While I photograph a wide variety of subjects, my goal is to always bring a sense of energy to an image, and, in doing so, hope to accurately portray not only what I saw in the moment of making the picture, but also what I felt. Though my subjects may vary, it is my hope that my reverence comes through each image and allows the viewer to engage emotionally with my work and to the subject matter. Through this work I honor connection to the land, to the animals, and to one another.
